The congress was opened by Katharina Ratheiser, granddaughter of Viktor Frankl; Daniel Hostetler of the Viktor Frankl Institute in the USA; Lev Surat, rector of the Moscow Institute of Psychoanalysis and Logotherapy; Alexander Batthyány; and Elisabeth Lukas. Among the lecturers were Heidi Schönfeld, Cynthia Wimberly and Svetlana Shtukareva.
