About Logos Centre
Logos Centre for Logotherapy and Existential Analysis is a place for support, self-discovery and learning. Our work draws on Viktor Frankl’s approach — the Third Viennese School of Psychotherapy — which teaches us how to find meaning and inner stability even in the most challenging moments.
Logos brings together the wisdom and trust built over years of practice at our Centre for Counselling and Personal Development. Respect for your personal story underpins everything we do here.
What we do
Counselling. Individual, couples and family therapy with adults and with teenagers. Meaning-centred logotherapy — on its own or combined with other approaches.
Training in logotherapy and existential analysis — a programme comprising theory, supervised practice, personal self-experience and supervision. Held in Sofia, in person and online.
Training and support for practitioners. Courses and seminars, supervision, mentoring and intervision for colleagues beginning their practice or looking for another perspective on a difficult case.
Blog. Articles, academic publications, lectures and events. It is time for logotherapy to step outside the narrow circle of the initiated and become available to more people in Bulgaria.
Our foundation
Our work rests on a fundamental understanding: a person is more than a body and a psyche. Each of us also has a spiritual dimension — an inner core that holds our freedom, conscience and personal responsibility.
However difficult everything else may be, it is from this place that we can choose how to face life’s challenges — illness, loss or a past we cannot change. Viktor Frankl calls this inner capacity ‘the defiant power of the human spirit’.
It does not disappear with a diagnosis or diminish with age. Even when external circumstances restrict us, this inner space remains open. Every meeting we have begins there.
Our mission
To make the principles of logotherapy accessible and relevant to people in Bulgaria — both those facing difficult experiences and colleagues who want to train and grow in this profession.
Everything we do rests on three important foundations:
The person
We aim to support everyone who places their trust in us in experiencing their life as valuable and meaningful again — even when the circumstances around them cannot be changed. To help them regain their inner freedom and sense of personal strength.
The fellow therapist
The journey from graduation to the first therapeutic meeting is often marked by uncertainty. Here, a practitioner starting out can find training, supervision, a welcoming community of colleagues and dependable support for those first steps.
Each of us
We believe logotherapy has something to offer everyone, not only in a crisis. It reminds us of meaning, conscience and our personal choice of who we want to be. That is why we write, translate and share this approach: so that it reaches more people and each person can find something in it for themselves.
We do not promise a ready-made formula for happiness. Meaning cannot be a prepared answer or a prescription — it is discovered by the person themselves, anew each time, in their own unique situation. Our work is simply to walk that path alongside you.
