Counselling and psychotherapy
People rarely arrive with a ready-made name for their problem. They come with what hurts, and finding a name for it is something we do together.
Every therapeutic journey begins with a first meeting. With respect and without rushing, we explore the issue you bring so that we can decide together on the best path for you. You do not need ready-made answers or to know in advance which approach you need.
Psychotherapeutic counselling and support with:
Meaning and inner support
- Discovering personal values and meaning in everyday life or in moments of emptiness;
- Strengthening the three paths to meaning — through creation and work, through love and experience, or through the choice of an inner attitude;
- Transforming pain — finding strength, dignity and new meaning despite the suffering you have experienced.
Fear, anxiety and exhaustion
- Managing fears and overcoming anxiety and depressive states;
- Recovering from burnout and complete emotional or professional exhaustion;
- Navigating sudden crises and unexpected changes in life.
Your relationship with yourself and others
- Strengthening self-esteem and developing healthy self-respect;
- Developing the capacity for love, intimacy and deep connection;
- Working through guilt and finding peace with what remains unresolved in the past;
- Accompaniment through grief following a significant loss or when facing life’s impermanence.
Family and life transitions
- Family and marital therapy — support with conflict, growing apart or a relationship crisis;
- Support for children and adolescents in adapting to difficult periods, changes and growing up;
- Overcoming eating disorders and restoring your relationship with your body and yourself.
How we work
Individual counselling and psychotherapy
Regular individual meetings. The duration of the process depends entirely on your needs and the depth of the questions we explore together.
Family and marital counselling
We help you restore dialogue, hear each other’s pain and rediscover what connects you. Meetings may be joint or individual, depending on what your relationship needs at the time: resolving relationship crises, conflicts between generations, separation and divorce, family life after a loss, or living with a seriously ill family member.
Work with values
A careful, structured process for discovering your personal hierarchy of values and identifying the areas in which your current life differs from them. The work uses a method developed in our practice and takes place individually or in a small group.
Groups
A personal experience group — for people who want to experience logotherapeutic work from within.
A personal growth group — work on values, responsibility and direction, in a circle of people moving in the same direction.
Mediation
Out-of-court dispute resolution for family, inheritance and commercial disputes. The mediator neither judges nor advises; they guide the conversation so that the parties reach an agreement themselves. Dr Kameliya Slavcheva is entered in the Unified Register of Mediators at the Ministry of Justice.
Work with organisations
We deliver lectures and seminars in companies, schools, hospitals, hospices and communities. Topics include meaning at work, professional burnout, responsibility, and coping with crisis and loss.
How I work
In person in Sofia at 115 Pirotska Street, and online. I work with adults, teenagers and families.
